Yarn: One skein of any worsted weight cotton.
Hook: 6.5 mm (K)
Abbreviations:
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half-double crochet
dc = double crochet

To begin, ch 30.*
Row 1: Sc in second ch from hook. (Hdc in next ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch.) Repeat to end of row.
Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as first dc), turn. (Hdc in next stitch, sc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, dc in next stitch.) Repeat to end of row.
Row 3: Ch 1, turn. Work this row in back loops only. Sc in first stitch. (Hdc in next stitch, dc in next stitch, hdc in next stitch, sc in next stitch.) Repeat to end of row.
Repeat rows 2 & 3 until dishcloth reaches desired length (approx. 10 times), finishing with a row 2.
Finish off and darn in ends.
*Or any multiple of 4 + 2.
